WHAT IS QUEEN CITY DEDUCTION?
Charlotte’s only social deduction convention is here! Join us for a weekend of thrilling games like Ultimate Werewolf, Blood on the Clocktower, Two Rooms and a Boom with world-class moderators who’ve run social deduction events nationwide, including at the World Series of Board Gaming in Las Vegas. Expect tournaments, learn-to-play sessions, prizes, and nonstop deception-filled fun all weekend long! We’ll be at Luck Factory Games, North Carolina’s largest board game cafe!
WHAT ARE SOCIAL DEDUCTION GAMES?
A social deduction game is a type of game where players must figure out hidden information, usually who among them is secretly on an opposing team or has a secret role, by talking, observing, and bluffing. In most social deduction games, everyone is given a role, but not all roles are revealed. Some players know more than others, and part of the fun is trying to uncover (or conceal) the truth through conversation, body language, and logic. There will be plenty of newbie friendly and Learn 2 Play games for new players.
HOW TO PLAY
This is not a comprehensive “how to play” guide but it will assist you in understanding a little more about what to expect with some of the events being played.
